With the Mid-Autumn Festival approaching, how can we incorporate environmental elements to create a unique traditional festival 'Eco-Lantern'? Starting with marine debris, this activity teaches children aged 5 and above, as well as teenagers, to use recycled marine debris from the coastline to make their own 'Eco-Lantern'. Through the process of making eco-friendly lanterns, participants will understand the concepts of waste recycling and sustainable development. Participants can choose Hong Kong's unique marine life such as seahorses, sea stars and sea turtles as their inspiration to create cute and interesting eco-lanterns.
